			<title><![CDATA[ Sad... squirrels are trashing my blues feeder ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I'm so bummed out... we rarelly see squirrels around here but as if my magic they have shown up on my back deck where I have the heated birdbath and open-air feeder for my wintering 8 bluebirds.<br>
<br>
The squirrel trashes the feeder, knocking the grate down to the ground and eating absolutely all of the bluebird banquet I put out every morning.<br>

I'm afraid now for the blueirds, that they won't survive the winter without this food.  I'm in Massachusetts and apparently it's unusual... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ My blues don't seem to find the mealies in the feeder on the patio.They spend their mornings on the cranapple tree in the front yard where I don't get to see them.I came up with the idea that I will set up the mealworm feeder on the tree and slowly move it to my patio.There is a flock of them-surely at least one of them should be able to get the idea where the good restaurant has moved to.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ It' so great to hear of all the sightings.  Is this normal? This is the first time I've seen them so late in the year.<br>
 I haven't posted since the summer.  I had one successful fledge in the spring, one case of disappearing eggs and one instance of abandoned eggs.  Then poof, no blues at all.<br>
