I don't know Dee....it depends...do you think it is the stupidest thing ever?? or were you sucked into it too? It depends on your answer how I answer it.
LOL
Why did you have to bring this up and make me admit this. I play Farm
Town. I have a farm on Farmville but like Farm Town better. In reality....I've gotten bored with it and am not on much now...thank goodness!!! It is
time consuming and kind of mindless. But...yes...my name is Tammy and I'm a Farm Town addict.

I thought for a moment....that I was just admitting to this to you and Maynard, Dee....forgetting that everyone on the forum now knows that I play Farm Town.

Thank heavens for the "hide" button. I block/hide all those games. Yep, I'll admit it, I'm not much fun! :)

I block all the other ones...but some purple martin internet friends got me on Farm Town before I knew what I was doing. It isn't really challenging and
quite time consuming...so don't get involved.

Tammy, Oh yes! It is kinda stupid, but .... we all need stupid sometimes, do we not?!
I found the Farmville first, thanks to a co-worker. And I looked at the Farm Town, kinda the same, really. "don't get involved" oops, too late! |

Yes..can relate.
Ok..now that you've brought it up, I have to tell you the difference between the two. I was on farmville first, because my son was on. I didn't like Farm Town at all at first because I wasn't used to it, but after playing for awhile like it better. Farm Town is much more detailed and interactive. On Farm Townwhen you visit your neighbor's farms, if they are there, you can see them and see what they are doing and you can chat with them. Also you can have them plow your fields and harvest your crops for you. They get paid and you get more money that way. Or you can go to the Market. There you will find a room full of other farmers and you can ask any of them to plow or harvest for you. Same...you get more money and don't have to do much of the work. You can hide things so its easier to work your fields, you have a storage area for things you don't want to get rid of but you don't want to put out. The animals move around your farm, unless you have them fenced in. There's more little differences too. I've lost some interest in it now because I have a couple of houses and other things that I wanted and plenty of money. I'm trying to do both, because I'm helping with my church youth group and a lot of the teenagers do Farmville so I want to stay connected with them, but Farmville gets neglected. Good reminder..better go check and see if I have any fields that need harvesting. I really hate to admit all this....Gin plays these difficult mind games.....and I play farmville...which really requires no mental skills. Oh well. Tammy

I play Farmville AND Yoville. I like Yoville because you get to re-decorate your house any time you want without spending any "real" money. My
daughter also does Cafe World and right now she's doing some Aquarium game and Roller Coaster game. I don't have time to get into any more of those
type of games, but Farm Town sounds fun. I......must.....resist!
I also do the word games - my favorite right now is Pathwords. But I've done Scramble, Word Challenge (that one is annoying), and Word Twist. ~ Central NY

Well....look me up and we can be buddies or friends or whatever. Really though, you both should just try Farm Town ...just to see the difference.

Gin, your idea of relaxation would have me tied up in knots. I know how much you liked the harder version of Mahjongg last year. I just like to play something
I can win without bending the brain cells too much. And with Yoville and Farmville, the closest thing you can come to "losing" is letting your crops
wither, or your cupcakes burn. Even then, you don't "lose" anything - you just don't make any points off 'em.
