HI, I'm Pam from near Mobile, Alabama. About 3 weeks ago a young bluebird came to us in our backyard He first showed up just before my dad passed away and still remains. It's so odd since my dad had a passion for birds, especially bluebirds, but was never able to attrack them. We have never experienced a wild bird such as this one. He comes several times each day, lights on our shoulders, eats mealworms from our hands, and even sleeps in the sleeve of my husband's shirt (he's wearing it!). Our small grandchildren are able to touch and hold this young fellow. He seems to thrive on human contact and cuddling It would be interesting to see if others have had this experience with wild birds. If I can figure how to do it, I will post some pictures on the sight for all to enjoy. for such a wonderful site.
