The XP one has a customize links bar under my toolbar at the top of the screen, where I can just drag web address from the address bar down to that spot and have my favorite links at my fingertips. My Vista computer doesn't have this. Any idea on how to get it on there?? Tammy NW, Ohio

You're using Firefox on both computers, or IE on one, or both? But my tools bars on each computer look different. One has a light gray background with a a yellow roofed home icon.(XP) The Vista has a blue background with a blueroofed home icon. Or has the version for Vista always looked different? I don't have Vista on any of our computers here, so I don't know if it would look different.... My son updated to the newest version of FF, and he wasn't particularly happy, because the toolbar had some differences - such as, there was no drop-down arrow next to the "Forward" button, which he uses all the time. On my browser toolbar, there's a drop-down arrow to the right of both the forward and back buttons. Of course, if you haven't "gone back", the forward button is greyed out, and the drop-down button doesn't drop anything down. Tammy, if you right click on your toolbar, does it give you the option to "Customize"? And are there options for the toolbars you want displayed. My list includes Navigation Toolbar (which includes the forward and back buttons, Home, Bookmarks, Refresh, and the address bar - which begs the question, where the heck do you type a manual URL if you don't have the Navigation toolbar showing?); the Bookmarks Toolbar (the one where you can drag and drop from the address bar); and I also have the Google Toolbar, which I really like. Somehow it fixed itself..or maybe I did it. Who knows?! I guess its kind of like another toolbar below the first one and now it is there and I'm able to drag Bluebird Chatter Forum down to that toolbar, so I don't have to find it in bookmarks.
