Anita - I found no way to have any control once you release the plane.
Sometimes mine did a loop-de-loop early on, and I felt like it didn't go as far when it did that.
Cher - that's the only place I remember seeing the loop - doesn't mean it didn't happen other times and I just missed it. I got so used to crashing at 123-139 I sometimes looked away from the screen.
