Did you ever wish you had something to distribute to neighbors, friends, or anyone else who showed a passing interest in bluebirds, that would inform and educate them about the reasons why bluebirds need and deserve our help, and give basic information on proper housing, etc.?
Last year, a number of members of the Bluebird Forum cooperated to prepare this flyer for just that purpose.
It was designed to be a free downloadable pdf file that anyone can print with their own inkjet printer and distribute freely to anyone interested in bluebirds. Hundreds of these flyers have already been distributed with excellent results.
There are also downloadable files for letters which you can choose to distribute with the flyer, offering two different levels of support for those who would like to get started with their own backyard bluebird conservation project.
Instructions for downloading and printing are included.
The Bluebird Chatter forum has a copy of this post which is open for your comments. We'd like to hear from anyone who has already successfully used the flyer, and hear the members' ideas for giving the flyer a wider distribution.
