I checked on my neighbor's nestbox since I saw what looked like nest building action in the last couple days.
Sure enough:
I think I may be having the dilemma again about taking down the feeder. This pair was at my feeder today. Then they both flew over to my nestbox. The male went to the entrance hole, didn't go in, and then flew away. Methinks they don't want anybody else using it. I guess what I'll do is leave it up until I see them try to chase off a rival. Then it comes down.
